Tejas Networks has reported its financial results for the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2024. For Q3 of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), consolidated net revenue was Rs 26.42 billion, as compared to Rs 5.6 billion in Q3 of FY24, resulting in a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 2.11 billion as compared to a loss before tax of Rs 0.49 billion, for corresponding previous period. Meanwhile, profit after tax (PAT) was Rs 1.66 billion as compared to loss after tax of Rs 0.45 billion for corresponding previous period.
Commenting on the results, Anand Athreya, managing director and chief executive officer (CEO), Tejas Networks, said, “In Q3 FY25 we made deliveries of more than 27,000 sites for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) 4G/5G network, leading to a total of more than 86,000 sites delivered till date. We had new customer wins with our gigabit passive optical network (GPON), packet transport and dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) products, both in India and globally. We also had increased engagements with our 4G/5G radio access network (RAN) products with several operators worldwide.”
Meanwhile, Sumit Dhingra, chief financial officer (CFO), Tejas Networks, said, “In Q3 FY25, we had a strong year on year (YoY) growth with a revenue of Rs 26.42 billion. We ended the quarter with an order book of Rs 26.81 billion and a net profit of Rs 1.66 billion. In this quarter, we significantly expanded our research and development (R&D) and manufacturing facilities in line with our business and headcount expansion.”
