Tejas Networks has reportedly entered into a strategic partnership with Japan-based Rakuten Symphony to jointly develop open radio access network (O-RAN) solutions and pursue global go-to-market opportunities, including in India.
Announced on June 25, 2025, the collaboration will see Tejas integrating its 4G and 5G radio portfolio with Rakuten Symphony’s central unit (CU) and distributed unit (DU) software, as well as its OSS and cloud platforms. The companies will also explore network deployment and expansion opportunities across international markets. However, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed yet.
