The India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2018 concluded on a high note, with state-of-the-art 5G applications being exhibited by global original equipment manufacturers,  technology and network equipment vendors, as well as operators. The conference  was hosted by the Department of Telecommu­ni­­cations and the Cellular Operators Association of India.

The 5G demonstrations gave an insight into key features of 5G technology, such as low latency, high throughputs and ubiquitous connectivity, and the potential benefits that it can offer to various enterprise verticals in enhancing productivity and efficiency. The exhibits ranged from drones and autonomous vehicles to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) use cases, all powered by high speed 5G networks.
