Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to speed up the development of India’s sovereign cloud ecosystem.
The collaboration aims to deliver scalable, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled cloud platforms that comply with India’s data localisation requirements and advance the digital transformation of critical public-sector services.
As per the partnership, C-DAC will develop and integrate indigenous innovations into TCS’s sovereign cloud stack.
Further, this move will support secure and compliant hosting of key government applications, including the national telemedicine service e-Sanjeevani, the emergency response system Dial 112, and workloads from central ministries.
