TCIL is reportedly planning to further develop and enhance capabilities of homegrown Samvad app in an effort to address the need for secured communication of enterprises working in both public and private sectors.
The app has been conceived and designed by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) and is available on Android and iOS platforms for secure calling, chatting as well as sharing location, audio and video files.
TCIL, in partnership with C-DoT, is also working towards making the Samvad app device-agnostic. Further, the company is also planning to market the app as a platform-as-a-service after integrating enterprise-grade functions for large businesses or organisations.
