Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) has expanded 3G coverage in Karnataka circle by adding an additional 1,000 telecom tower sites.
The operator plans to enhance the 3G network coverage further in the circle by adding a few more thousand tower sites by July 31, 2014. The additions of new sites will ensure that TTSL extends 3G coverage across 53 towns in Karnataka.
With an aim to encourage the uptake of 3G services, the operator has introduced a number of data plans for subscribers. TTSL?s data plans start at Rs 155 for 1 GB of data usage, whereas data plans bundled with voice services are priced at Rs 125 onwards.
