The Tata Group is planning to invest Rs 2 billion and offer 155 new jobs for a semiconductor testing and packing unit at Narasapura in Kolar district, Karnataka.

The planned investment by Tata for its semiconductor unit is in sync with the government of Karnataka’s initiatives to shore up industrial development in the state.
