TATA DOCOMO to expand mRupee service to 26 cities

TATA DOCOMO plans to expand its money remittance and payment service, mRupee to 26 cities by end-2014.

Currently, TATA DOCOMO offers mRupee service in 11 cities through its wholly-owned subsidiary, MMP Mobi Wallet Payment Systems Limited (MMPL).

With over 1,700 retail outlets, MMPL provides mRupee service to over 130,000 customers through a tie-up with ICICI Bank.
