TATA DOCOMO joins hands with RIM

TATA DOCOMO has joined hands with Research in Motion (RIM) to provide data and voice post-paid plans to customers using the BlackBerry 9320 handset.

The operator has introduced the Rs 599 monthly plan, which entails 600 free talktime minutes, 600 free text messages and the unlimited BlackBerry Internet Services plan, which has a 10GB download limit.

Commenting on the launch, Sunil Tandon head, non-voice services, Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) said that customers will be able to recover the cost of the BlackBerry Curve 9320 (roughly Rs 15,500) within 15 months, as the plans are worth Rs 1,080 monthly.
