TATA DOCOMO has expanded its mobile broadband services footprint to eight towns, say news reports.
In a statement issued by the company, the operator said that it would provide the Tata DOCOMO Photon Plus broadband service in Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli and Vellore in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The service is available for Rs 1,199.
Currently, the company offers broadband services in Chennai, Sriperumbudur, Coimbatore, Kancheepuram, and Nagercoil.
Commenting on the development, Rajan Gupta, COO, Tamil Nadu, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “The launch of the Tata Docomo Photon Plus service in eight new towns is in keeping with our intent of providing more and more people with high-speed internet access.?
