TATA DOCOMO and U2opia Mobile launch Facebook check-in service for users

TATA DOCOMO has partnered with U2opia Mobile to introduce Facebook check-in service.

The service allows users to stay connected to friends on Facebook without using internet, global positioning system or mobile data services, through unstructured supplementary services data. Facebook check-in allows a user to check into a location showing on the user?s Facebook profile. The user will be charged Re 1 per check-in.
