Tata Communications has acquired the Mosaic business of the BT Group (formerly British Telecom). Mosaic is a portal-based ondemand digital media management platform that manages content and workflow from production to distribution across market ecosystems. It helps media customers improve crossenterprise content creation, management and multi-format delivery. The operator has also launched a data centre in Pune, offering services such as co-location, managed hosting and storage. The operator plans to invest up to Rs 5 billion over the next three years in addition to the Rs 1.25 billion it has already invested in the centre.
