Tata Communications has appointed Pathmal Gunawardana as its head of Americas. He will be responsible for accelerating customer adoption of Tata Communications’ hybrid wide area network, cloud enablement and business collaboration services across North and South America. Gunawardana joined Tata Communications in 2015 and has served as VP of sales for the Americas. In the past, he has worked with Juniper Networks, Nokia Siemens Network, Alcatel Lucent Technologies and Bell Labs.
