Tata Communications has appointed Amur Swaminathan Lakshminarayanan as the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company.
As per a regulatory listing, Lakshminarayanan’s appointment shall be subject to necessary approvals of the company’s shareholders.
Lakshminarayanan is an alumnus of London Business School and BITS, Pilani.
Prior to joining Tata Commmunications, Lakshminarayanan was serving as the president and CEO of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Japan where he was responsible for developing the company’s brand in the region.
