Tata Communication has launched its cloud-based 5G roaming laboratory to enable telecom operators to test their 5G standalone (SA) network use cases before launching them.
According to the company, the 5G roaming lab tests the international mobile roaming experience by closely monitoring traffic movement and network usage to provide the highest quality of experience on mobile while roaming. The 5G lab will be used to evaluate the performance of devices and networks as users are roaming, which includes onboarding and internet trials on the 5G SA network.
The lab is equipped with hi-tech server applications that provide seamless 5G roaming connectivity at high speeds along with network security.
