Taiwan’s Far EasTone has signed a contract with Finnish IP multimedia subsystem software vendor Movial to enable VoIP service over its HSPA network as well as its in-home HSPA router.

Taiwan’s Far EasTone has signed a contract with Finnish IP multimedia subsystem software vendor Movial to enable VoIP service over its HSPA network as well as its in-home HSPA router. This will be the first operator-branded VoIP service over Far EasTone’s 3G network and will be offered to new broadband wireless subscribers as well as the existing DSL users.
