Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom is likely to set up a $30 million internet data JV with Vietnam’s telecom operator Viettel as part of its efforts to expand overseas. In the new venture, Viettel will own a 70 per cent stake while Chunghwa Telecom will take the remaining 30 per cent.
