Syrma SGS Technology is planning to invest Rs 18 billion to establish India’s largest integrated manufacturing facility for multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) and copper clad laminates (CCLs) in Andhra Pradesh. The unit is expected to be commissioned by 2026–27 in Naidupeta, near Tirupati, leveraging its strategic proximity to Chennai’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

The company is in advanced discussions with the state government to secure a package of incentives, including capital subsidies, electricity duty exemptions, and skilling support.

A key feature of this project is Syrma SGS’s focus on backward integration. By manufacturing CCL, a critical raw material for PCBs, within the same facility, the company aims to reduce import reliance, lower production costs, and strengthen India’s domestic electronics manufacturing supply chain.
