The Supreme Court (SC) will be hearing the petitions filed by the non-telecom public sector undertakings (PSUs) soon.
As per industry sources, SC will be hearing the pleas of GAIL India, Power Grid Corporation and Oil India that had filed clarificatory applications. RailTel and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also have filed similar applications.
The non-telecom PSUs had filed the petition seeking clarification on applicability of adjusted gross revenue (AGR) verdict that might require them to pay well over Rs 3 trillion in licence fee dues.
