ST Telemedia Global Data Centres India (STT GDC India) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Uttar Pradesh (UP) government to execute the government’s plan to develop an ‘artificial intelligence (AI) City’.
STT GDC India will provide its data centres and enable the AI computing infrastructure through its partners’ ecosystem. This will enable solutions for multiple sectors, start-ups, research institutions and governance, ultimately driving the state’s vision of achieving a $ 1 trillion economy by 2027.
In addition, STT GDC India has already committed to the state with investments of around Rs 41 billion and has operationalised its first data centre park in Noida with further developments in pipeline.
