Sterlite Technologies (STL), in partnership with Dilip Buildcon, has received an advanced work order (AWO) valued at Rs 26.31 billion from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the construction of the BharatNet Phase-III middle-mile network in the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regions (Package 13).
Further, the order includes a capital expenditure of Rs 16.20 billion and an operating expenditure of approximately Rs 9.72 billion for the new network, along with an additional Rs 0.38 billion for the operation of the existing network.
According to the order letter, STL is required to furnish a performance security of Rs 1.31 billion, valid for 3.5 years, within 14 working days from the issuance of the AWO.
