Sterlite Technologies has won two contracts totalling Rs 1.07 billion from BSNL

Sterlite Technologies has won two contracts totalling Rs 1.07 billion from BSNL. The first contract is for the supply of ribbon fibre optic cables, which BSNL will install in about 900 city sites across the country. The second contract is for providing 10 to 2,000 paired copper telecom cables which will be installed to support the growing demand for ADSL-based broadband and basic telephony in rural and urban India.
