Sterlite Technologies Limited has announced its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
Financial highlights
- Net revenue of Rs 7.07 billion
- EBITDA of Rs 540 million, PAT of Rs 130 million.
- Telecom business revenues of Rs 1.93 billion.
During the quarter under consideration, the company received new orders valued at about Rs 7 billion for its telecom and power products. The current open order book for the company stands at Rs 24 billion.
This includes an order to deploy a central office broadband system for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) across all its circles; valued at about Rs 1.14 billion.
Customer investments aimed at increasing bandwidth applications translated into strong demand for broadband and telecom infrastructure systems in the second quarter.
