
Nokia Corporation has brought in Stephen Elop, head of Microsoft?s business division, as president and chief executive officer (CEO). He will replace Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and join the company?s board of directors. In the past, Elop has held senior executive positions in a number of US-based public companies including Juniper Networks, Adobe Systems and Macromedia. He has a degree in computer engineering and management from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
