Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has announced a change in leadership positions for the Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh (West) Circles.
Umesh Durve has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Karnataka Circle while Siraj Abbasi has been named the new COO for the Uttar Pradesh (West) Circle. Both the COOs will be required to report directly to Dmitry Shukov, Chief Executive Officer at SSTL. The position of COO for the Karnataka circle was vacant for past few months, while that for the Uttar Pradesh (West) circle was being overseen by the Ashish Verma, COO, Gujarat Circle as an additional charge.
Both the COOs have an industry experience of above two decades in sales and marketing. Durve was earlier associated with Bharti Airtel as the vice president of market operations while Abbasi worked as the business head for the Uttar Pradesh (East) circle for Reliance Communications.
