
Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has posted its results for the quarter ended March 2011.
The company?s consolidated revenues were up by 22 per cent quarter on quarter to reach Rs 2,362 million. During the quarter, the total wireless (voice and data) subscriber base was up by 19 per cent to 10.05 million. However as of now, MTS India has more than 11 million subscribers.
Moreover, blended mobile ARPU for the quarter was Rs 82. The number of data subscribers increased by 36 per cent over the fourth quarter of 2010 to 580,000.
Non-voice revenues from both data and mobile VAS for the quarter are up by 33 per cent quarter on quarter to Rs 588 million, which contributes 25 per cent of total revenue.
