Sistema Shyam Teleservices (SSTL) has announced the results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2010-11. The company, which currently has operations in 12 circles and a pan India license has incurred an operating loss of $106.7 million for the quarter ended September 2010, as against $46.3 million in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, the losses have increased by 12per cent, from $95.3 million in the first quarter. The company’s revenues have increased from $7.2 million for the quarter ended September 2009 to $23.1 million for the quarter ended September 2010. On a sequential basis, revenues increased by 34.9 per cent from $17.1 million. The company’s subscriber base crossed the six million mark during the quarter. For its wireless data services named MBlaze the company claims to have 12,000 subscribers.
