Bharti Airtel’s consumer director India Srini Gopalan has resigned from the company. He will join Deutsche Telekom in October 2016 as the company’s new board member for Europe. At Bharti Airtel, Gopalan was responsible for the company’s consumer business in 23 regions in India, including broadband connections, satellite TV and mobile communications. Before joining Airtel, Gopalan worked for over 10 years in the UK with US-based financial services provider Capital One, T-Mobile UK and Vodafone UK.
