Spice Nepal Private Limited, which operates under the brand Mero Mobile, plans to increase its network coverage from 45 districts currently to all 75 districts by the end of June 2009. The TeliaSonera-backed company intends to invest $250 million in network expansion before 2010, and has set a target to add 1.2 million subscribers in 2009, up from a total of 1.7 million at the end of 2008.
