
Spice has launched cloud services for users. The mobile handset manufacturer has introduced its cloud services under the brand name – Spice Cloud.
Spice Cloud allows consumers to automatically store and secure data. It provides anti-theft features which protect the user?s content and help them to locate the device. Spice Cloud provides consumers with cloud backup of up to 2 GB of data, and access to user photos, documents, media files and contacts across the devices.
The company is offering the cloud service along with its newly launched Stellar Virtuoso Pro smartphone. The cloud service would also be available on other smartphones and tablets launched under the Spice brand.
Commenting on the launch, T.M. Ramakrishnan, chief executive officer, devices, S Mobility Limited, said, ?The potential for cloud services uptake in India and other emerging markets is phenomenal. With the launch of the cloud services, Spice consumers will have the flexibility to access files and data anywhere. They can even use the remote wipe option in case of theft or loss of their smartphones, ensuring data security.?
