South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom plans to increase the investment in its affiliate, TU Media, which offers cellphone based video services, known as satellite digital multimedia broad casting (DMB).

South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom plans to increase the investment in its affiliate, TU Media, which offers cellphonebased video services, known as satellite digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB). At present, SK Telecom has a 29.6 per cent share in TU Media, which it can increase to 33 per cent as per the law.

This will cost SK Telecom approximately 6 billion won.
