According to a joint study by Canada-based smartphone maker, BlackBerry and GfK, a research firm, around 67 per cent of the smartphone users are always looking for improved productivity in their work. One key finding in the research has been that around 69 per cent of smartphone owners continuously look at fresh ways to complete their tasks as effectively as possible while 65 per cent of them feel that devices bring substantial impact on their work outcome. 

As per the research, the Indian smartphone users are of the view that the mobile phones can save time and increase communication with others and therefore, are productivity enhancers. 

Further, around 76 per cent of the BlackBerry smartphone users think that a BlackBerry phone is more likely to reflect their status within the organisation as compared to other smartphones. Also, around 86 per cent of the BlackBerry users feel that their smartphones are more secure.
