SK Telecom’s handset-making subsidiary seal a preliminary agreement to supply Nokia with handsets.

SK Telecom, South Korea’s top mobile carrier, announced that its handset-making subsidiary has sealed a preliminary agreement to supply Nokia with handsets. Under the deal, SK Teletech is to supply Nokia with CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO (evolution data optimised) handsets on an original equipment manufacturing basis. A formal deal is yet to be signed.
