South Korea-based operator SK Telecom has rolled out long term evolution-advanced (LTE ? A) to offer high speed 4G services in the country.

With the launch of LTE ? A in the country, the operator is looking forward to offer users 4G services at twice the speed supported by LTE.

LTE-A is based on carrier aggregation technology, which bundles two frequency bands to increase the bandwidth. The network is capable of automatically choosing from different frequency bands available at the user?s location depending upon the data traffic.
