SK Telecom is planning to launch IPTV services in South Korea.
The company intends to launch the service in collaboration with Samsung Electronics, which will provide set-top boxes to enable users to receive the content. SK Telecom has also recently signed a contract to purchase Hanaro Telecom, which runs an IPTV service called “Hana TV”. It plans to offer both these services concurrently.
