Russia’s Sistema Group has completed the sale of 50.91 per cent stake in fixed line operator Comstar-UTS to its subsidiary, MTS, for $1.32 billion.
As the result of this transaction, the entire shareholding of the Sistema Group in Comstar-UTS has been transferred to MTS. Sistema is now the controlling shareholder in both MTS and Comstar-UTS.
