SirionLabs, the leader in AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) technology, has announced the appointment of Rajeev Kumar as chief revenue officer. A seasoned leader in the enterprise technology space, Kumar brings more than 20 years of experience in guiding clients on their digital transformation journey. Kumar will be responsible for spearheading SirionLabs’ aggressive market expansion plans, with direct responsibility for sales, marketing and strategic partnership eco-system.
Over the past 5 years, Kumar was a key member of the sales and executive leadership at iCertis, a leading CLM provider with a market valuation of $2.8 billion. As the head of sales for the European region, he played an instrumental role in accelerating Icertis’ market expansion.
CLM is today one of the fastest-growing enterprise software categories – and has emerged as a strategic business platform critical for running the business alongside other established categories such as ERP, CRM and P2P. In a significant departure from its historically siloed existence, CLM today sits at the centre of the enterprise connecting all parts of the business including procurement, sales, legal, finance, risk, IT and operations. The growing importance of the CLM category is reflected in the accelerated investment momentum in the space, with several providers announcing sizable investments in the past 12 months – including the $44 million series C funding for SirionLabs in May 2020.
