About 51 million shares of Bharti Airtel changed hands in a large block deal on the exchanges. Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) sold 51 million shares in Bharti Airtel, raising gross proceeds of S$1.5 billion ($1.16 billion).
Further, Airtel’s stock declined 4.1 per cent during trading on 7 November 2025 after the block deal. Even so, the share remains around 28 per cent higher than a year ago.
Singtel had earlier divested a 1.2 per cent direct stake in Airtel via a private placement in May 2025.
