SingTel has appointed another nominee to the board of directors at Bharti Tele Ventures Limited

SingTel, the largest foreign investor in Bharti, has appointed another nominee to the board of directors at Bharti Tele Ventures Limited (BTVL). For the past two months, SingTel had just two representatives on the board, the same as Vodafone, with only 10 per cent equity, despite the fact that it has the right to appoint three board nominees. Meanwhile, the Vodafone Group has completed the economic closure of transaction with Bharti Airtel for acquiring 10 per cent stake for about Rs 67 billion.
