Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has been granted national and international long distance (NLD and ILD) licences. The operator has formed a joint venture (JV) company with a Leela group company and Bharti Enterprises to offer long distance services in India. SingTel holds 74 per cent stake in the JV.
