Singapore Telecommunications is likely to launch the iPhone in Singapore in September 2008. The company has reportedly signed a deal with Apple to source iPhones. Apple is targeting to sell 10 million iPhone units in Asia in 2008. Apple has also held talks with other Asian telcos, including Japan’s NTT DoCoMo, to launch its iPhone in various countries.
