The SJC cable is expected to be operational by September 2012 and will initially link Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan. The other consortium members include Globe Telecom, Google, KDDI Corporation, Network i2i, Reliance Globalcom, Telemedia Pacific and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International.
