Singapore-based telecommunications provider Pacnet is expanding its presence in the US market by setting up four new pointsof-presence (PoPs) in New York, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco. With this, the company will now have a total of nine PoPs in the US. Following the merger of Asia Netcom and Pacific Internet into Pacnet, the company has more than doubled its presence. Its latest expansion increases its PoPs around the world to more than 75. The new interconnections will enhance the company’s ability to serve US-based multinational corporations over leading-edge infrastructure, so that they can seamlessly connect with customers, partners and their rapidly expanding operations in Asia.
