
Simmtronics Semiconductors has inked agreements with various stakeholders to offer public Wi-Fi services at 5,000 hotspots across the country.
Following the tie-ups, customers using the SimmtronicsXpad will be able to access a 2 Mbps Wi-Fi connection free of charge.
Commenting on the tie-up, Indrajit Sabharwal, managing director, Simmtronics Semiconductors, says, “Simmtronics Xpad had a successful launch in the Middle East and the Arab States of the Gulf. It has recently been launched in India. Keeping in mind consumers’ need to stay connected everywhere and all the time, we are offering users Wi-Fi services at a lot of public places. The consumers need to access content and participate in social and commercial interactions on the go. The Xpad users will enjoy continuous connectivity through public Wi-Fi service which is available at all the major outlets.”
