Sify Technologies Limited has said that it will set up 200 MW capacity data centres over the next four years with a combination of hyperscale and retail facilities.

The new data centres are slated to come in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru as these locations are expected to see more demand for both colocation and cloud space given the concentration of financial traffic.

Having entered the data centre market in 2000, Sify has so far built and operated 10 carrier-neutral data centres, currently offering more than 70 MW of capacity in Vashi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Airoli, Noida, Rabale, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
