A Delhi court has dismissed Siddharth Behura, former secretary, Department of Telecommunications (DoT)?s bail plea, say news reports. This was because the court felt Behura adopted a passive role in the 2G spectrum allocation issue.

Special CBI Judge, O.P. Saini said, ?Behura was secretary in the DoT and as such, he was the highest ranking official of the department. He did not object to the ongoing activities. Instead, he participated in the same.?  The court refused bail to Behura, observing that he may tamper with the evidence or influence witnesses.
