Shyam Telecom Limited has registered a loss of Rs 6.79 million for the quarter ended September 2014, as against a profit of Rs 9.21 million for the quarter ended September 2013. The revenues declined from Rs 907.9 million in July-September 2013 to Rs 769.9 million in July-September 2014. The company also reported a loss of Rs 12.07 million in its earnings before other income, finance costs and exceptional items for the quarter ended September 2014, as compared to Rs 4.84 million for the quarter ended September 2013.
In the business segments, telecom products and services posted a decrease in profits from Rs 16.9 million for the quarter ended September 2013 to Rs 1.97 million for the corresponding quarter in 2014.
