Shubhodip Pal, former CMO of Micromax, has been appointed COO, Yu Televentures, a subsidiary of Micromax. In his new role, Pal will be responsible for taking Yu Televentures on the same growth path as Micromax. He will report to Yu Televentures’ co-founder and CEO Rahul Sharma. During a previous stint with the company, Pal had been instrumental, along with other key executives, in making Micromax one of the top five smartphone manufacturers in India. Pal had resigned from Micromax in February 2015 to join Balaji Motion Pictures as CEO.
