Sensorise has announced the launch of first machine-to-machine (M2M) remote SIM provisioning (RSP) platform for consumer SIMs.
This innovative platform allows users to manage eSIM profiles seamlessly without the need for physical SIM card changes. VoyX is the first to leverage the power of SenseProM. VoyX provides seamless connectivity in over 140 countries and is designed for frequent travellers, students, and professionals. It eliminates the need for physical SIM cards and offers flexible local, regional, and global data packs.
The SenseProM platform is based on GSMA consumer architecture SGP.22, ensuring a secure infrastructure with essential SM-DP+ component. This allows users to download, activate, and switch between mobile network operators effortlessly, giving them full control over their connectivity options.
Key features of SM-DP+ component include:
- Secure transmission: Employs cryptographic techniques to securely transmit and store sensitive information, ensuring data integrity and secure connections between eSIM and mobile network operators.
- Profile management: Oversees the preparation and security of consumer profile data, mitigating risks of data leakage.
- Subscription oversight: Manages subscription data, ensuring that eSIM devices receive appropriate profiles for seamless connectivity.
- Lifecycle management: Monitors entire lifecycle of profiles, including creation, deletion, and real-time usage tracking.
Commenting on the announcement, Karn Nagpal, president, Rosmerta Technologies, said, “Introducing SenseProM at IMC-24 is a significant step towards advancing mobile connectivity and making our products standards aware and aligned with the customers’ needs and roadmap. We are grateful to Dr Neeraj Mittal, secretary (T), DoT for launching this platform, which marks a pivotal moment for the industry. Post certification of this new product, we plan to target Indian handset manufacturers to enable them to introduce eSIM features. We want to proliferate consumer segment with our offerings like we have done in M2M space”.
Meanwhile, Vijaya Vivek Kamath, chief executive officer (CEO), Sensorise, said, “SenseProM enables our efforts in export segment by enabling inter-operability with overseas telcos. Our first launch is consumer and will be followed by our M2M RSP. This platform is designed to enhance flexibility and user control, addressing the evolving needs of consumers while meeting highest industry standards. We are confident that SenseProM will help us in growing our business both India and abroad.”
