SC to look into Vi and Airtel’s plea for AGR recalculation in two weeks

The Supreme Court (SC) will be hearing Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea’s (Vi) plea seeking recalculation of their adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues in two weeks.

However, the date of hearing has not been announced yet.

Earlier, in January 2021, Airtel and Vi had moved SC seeking directions to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to recalculate AGR dues. According to the telcos, there were mathematical errors in calculation of the outstanding amount given by the DoT.
